Finals Are OVER!!

This week has been hectic, studying and preparing for each and everyone of my classes. Woah, well i guess i am over exaggerating a bit but i hope my hard work pays off. Exams were pretty easy, I probably studied the hardest for Math. Pre-Algebra? "Pre" If thats just the beginning I mean... How much harder will it get?! I also studied for E.L.A. (English Language Arts) because for our final exam it was a debate and because we knew about the debate prior that meant our debate was supposed to be more intriguing. In third hour E.L.A. I can honestly say nearly everyone earned at least a 2 out if 3, the only big issue was people having order to the discussion. However that was the fun-nest part of the day.
Then later on in F.F. (Freedom Fellows) we went up to the third floor and began working on out workshop. Ehh, we got some work done but... we still have more work to do. Maybe its because.. a member just about had a panic attack at the fact that he/she didn't believe that we would finish the project on time... (No Names) :) So I ended up staying at school until 4:30 p.m., when we got out of school at 12:00 p.m....  But overall today was a pretty average day nothing out of the ordinary except for the fact that everyone is amazing leaving the school like all at once... well if you ask me, the ones who need to go continue to stay and the ones who should stay leave, So Uhh what does that tell you? Lol.

8th Grade Retreat

I remember it like it was yesterday even thought it happened a couple of months ago. When we first heard we were having a "Field Study" we were all ecstatic but that quickly changed when we found out it was just another way of trying to "change the 8th grade's spiraling behavior in an innovative method." So, we were separated into groups and color coded i ended up in the RED group... and i figured Well, if they're taking this much time for something so minor lets make the best of it. The day was going pretty well, the 8th grade had no problems (my theory is they weren't acting "bad" because they were in a church...) So before Lunch break we had to go to another class but this one was different than the others because the boys and girls had to be separated from each other, because the names of the works shops were "How to be a Young Lady" and "How to be a Young Man".
As soon as we walked into the workshop we could tell something was gonna be awkward from the start, just by the body language of everyone. The first thing the two women said were "Hey, were gonna teach you how to be a young lady" and... they began with a powerpoint in the powerpoint presentation they targeted a couple "Bad Influences" that the 8th grade females took a liking to, Like The rap artist Nikki Minaj, The reality series "Bad Girls Club" and the model Naomi Campbell (Because she threw her cell phone at people?!) and then they showed us some positive influences like of course Oprah Winfrey, First lady Michelle Obama, And Amazingly Willo Smith they said her songs were very appropriate because she just whips her hair back and forth. (WOW, ikr)
Then they said and i quote, "There is Wifey Material, and there is Hoodrat material and there is NO in between" So, then they asked us which one would we rather be... A "WIFEY" or a "HOODRAT" .... Well you choose? and then they began to talk about hygiene and being a cleanly young lady, like themselves (LMAO) and then before they finished that topic they had a individual conversation with each other about their hair and weather or not Tampons or Pads are better. Uhhh, yea it was a very interesting meeting, Very informative?!.... :| But then sadly the meeting came to a close just when the topic was getting very interesting :( , the meeting was the one high point of the whole Retreat. .The point of the meeting was... "Dont Be a HOODRAT, Be WIFEY MATERIAL.", I think. o_o

"Choose Em Wisely"

So, Being in Middle School should be "Smooth", and calm well compared to high school. But Recently at my school "RUMORS" have been going around about . . . how do I say, about a recent incident where a 8th grader, was caught doing something very ...  "Naughty" (No names) ... but because this thing happened the 8th grader their "FRIENDS" should be there to help them through any situation no matter how big nor how small. However, in this case the "FRIENDS" did just the opposite, instead of being someone the "8th grader" should trust, the immediately dropped her to the curb. (Not gonna get too descriptive) ;) So what does that mean?
I guess the sayings were right! "Choose your friends wisely", because that 8th grader obviously made a HUGE mistake. I guess school is one of the unpredictable parts of life, sometimes it can be wonderful and the next thing you know everything you worked for spirals into the very thing you tried to avoid in the first place.
So i guess in the long run you should probably listen to those simple things that are passed on through generation to generation because even those simple little things can make a big impact on your life, and some things no matter what time nor age they will always be the same.

5th Hour P.E.: Confrontation?! Lol.

It Turns Out.. That today in physical education we had a substitute. Our substitute said today we had a free day, meaning we could play any sport and use any peice of equipment except for the WII's Because she said "You won't be able to pay for it if you break it will ya?", so instead Stephanie and I decided to play basketball... it was going fine. then we eventually moved on to play a friendly game of Badmitten with two other students (No Names, lol) but further more another student went over to the WII and began playing on them after the substitute told us not to and she then came over and told them not to bother the WII, they claimed they were in the locker room and they didnt hear her... so she them gave them the "Stank Face". We continued to play Badmitten untill i accidently served the birdie and almost hit the sub. I quickly apologized but she still didnt refrain from giving me the "Stank Face" and nodding her head.
Around that time it was time to change for next class period so we go in the locker room everything is cool untill someones says... "Man i hate people who say that they are going to do something then never do it", then another girl walks over... and says "Are you talking about me?!" and..i thought well, Someones guilty! Haha, but then this conversation spiralled out of control when the person said "I'm not all talk, girl I'll beat you right here right now." and the other girl responded.... "Im Right Here." and the other then said... "Girl Bye, bald headed 'girl'" and she then replied, "Get on with that now obviously i have way more hair than you i mean really? looking like RuPaul, i mean you set yourself up for that one." the other girl looked puzzled and simply replied "Whatever i dont have time for this" and walked away... all i have to say is.. Someone Choked! Haha, but i guess in the end it was all resolved. At least they didnt do anything stupid. smile

Omg Girl, Real Talk! (R.T.)

I have one simple question. What's the new craze about people and them constantly saying "Real Talk"? I mean... you already sound "Ghetto" enough already why emphasize it? According to UrbanDictionary.com Real Talk means "The TRUTH or something that actually means what is it or the truth of the matter". I mean i dont get it, the phrase is constantly being Texted, and updated to nearly every social network, i mean RT! When is this thing gonna end? Come up with something more creative. Its gotten old. And that Travis Porter song, if i hear one more person singing that i feel like im just gonna rip their head off. Next time you hear that song, listen to the lyrics. Do you know what your saying when you sing it, but yet when someones says that to you, you get oh so offensive. WOW. Nvm.... RT. LOL.
